Breakout Bonus Features
Like the majority of NLC releases, the Breakout slot machine by NLC is stacked with features. This time, there aren’t any X-themed mechanics and features, but there’s plenty going on already.
Syndicate Multiplier
Each one of the three criminals have a Syndicate multiplier attached. Whenever it lands, the value is added to all criminals. If several multipliers appear, they will go to the respective high-pay symbols. Unfortunately, they’re not additive.
Chain Reaction Respins
Landing at least six criminals on the grid triggers the respins feature. The high-pay symbols turn sticky, and landing another high-pay symbols will retrigger another respin. Bonus symbols are collected and stored, helping players advance to the bonus round.
Breakout Spins
Three bonus symbols trigger seven of these spins. The Breakout free games round, Syndicate multipliers persist between spins. Landing an additional scatter adds three extra spins. A fourth scatter triggers the second bonus instead.
Clearout Spins
The Clearout free games bonus starts with one life for each criminal. Multipliers are persistent, while the respins mode retains original gameplay. Kill symbols can now land, and they either reveal a criminal or a miss. Naturally, revealing a criminal removes that character from the reels. When a kill symbol lands with just one criminal remaining, it will initiate a respin. All instances of the remaining symbols turn sticky, and during it, the character can’t be killed off.
