Big Sumo Bonus Features
While the base game of the Big Sumo slot machine is fun enough, with its Sumo and Big Sumo wilds, with the latter only showing up on reel three, standing in for more symbols than the regular Sumo wild, things really take off here in the two bonus modes, which we explain here:
Big Sumo
The scatters in this slot are Rice symbols, only appearing on reels one and five, often stacked. These symbols activate the Big Sumo round when two hit on the two mentioned reels on the same spin, and Big Sumo wilds appear on reel three along with them.
When the previously described combo occurs, the Big Sumo round begins on an expanded 5x5 grid with fifty paylines, compared to the base game’s twenty-five. It awards five free spins, where the number of activating Rice symbols determines how full the Rice Stacks are in this feature when it loads.
Big Sumo symbols jump on Rice ones, and eat them, getting an extra spin and boosting the Rice Stack counter, which, when full, makes the Big Sumo wild grows in size. This can keep happening, and when this wild increases to 5x5, Mega Reel play activates, awarding fixed prizes up to 350x.
Triple Way Jackpots
When three or more Gold or Silver Triple Way symbols land, they activate their three-by-one machine on the reel they have hit, with each one of these tokens having its own paytable. If three Triple Ways symbols show up on the 3x1 machine, a super reel will pop in and award one of three jackpots, which are progressive with the following seed values:
