Description of 36 Coins

One of the more popular entries in Wazdan’s Coins series, the 36 Coins slot is a simple title with a lot to love about it. Its appeal is easy to understand. While players won’t find much in the way of plot or theme, they will find an abundance of shining gold coins and multipliers galore. Add to that a max win of 2,000x, four fixed jackpots and a rousing bonus round, and it’s easy to see why the 36 Coins slot machine is one of the developer’s most popular hits in recent history.

What are the special features of 36 Coins?

36 Coins is a pretty simple game, and most of the action resides in its bonus features. In fact, there are no direct wins in the slot’s base game at all! Our favourite features are the four fixed jackpots, bonus symbols and Hold the Jackpot bonus round. Let’s take a closer look at what you can expect when sitting down to play this title.

Hold the Jackpot

To trigger the Hold the Jackpot bonus game, players must land bonus symbols of any kind within the slot’s highlighted four centre positions. The round begins with three respins. When the game is triggered, all bonus symbols on the board carry over, and all other symbols are removed from the grid. Only bonus symbols and blanks land during this time, and the number of respins left resets every time players land new sticky bonus symbols.

Normal cash bonus symbols landing during the Hold the Jackpot game range from 1x to 5x, and Cash Infinity symbols award between 5x and 10x. Filling all reel positions triggers the Grand jackpot, worth 2,000x. Everything pays out when the number of respins runs out.

Fixed Jackpots

36 Coins offers players the opportunity to win one of four fixed jackpots:

Mini (10x) Minor (20x) Major (50x) Grand (2,000x)

Jackpots are won by landing jackpot symbols during the Hold the Jackpot bonus round. We’ve already discussed how to trigger the Grand jackpot, and you can trigger the Mini, Minor and Major pots directly via the aforementioned symbols.

Mystery/sticky/infinity symbols

The last feature we want to address in 36 Coins is the bonus symbols. More specifically, players can land mystery, sticky and infinity symbols on the grid during both the base game and the bonus round. Mystery symbols reveal random bonus symbols (any bonus symbols). Sticky symbols remain on the board for the rest of the round, especially during the bonus game, and infinity symbols stay on the board until the next Hold the Jackpot bonus round, regardless of how long it takes.

Game info about 36 Coins

Released in 2024, 36 Coins presents players with a simple 6x6 grid set against a plain background. The gold symbols themselves are the most attractive part of the game by far, with every last one gently shimmering. Outside of that, things are pretty straightforward. There isn’t a lot to discuss here regarding the theme, setting or aesthetics. It’s a polished game with good graphics and fairly standard sound design. If you don’t mind mildly grating music, you’re in luck!

We’d say that this is an action-based slot for adventure-loving players.
