Now, here are some of our selected tips & odds for the Premier League Gameweek 13.
West Ham vs Tottenham - 12:30pm 23rd November
The TV cameras will be at the London Stadium and all eyes will be on the dugout. Jose Mourinho has always been a character that is must watch, no matter whether you love him or hate him. In terms of on the pitch, he has always set his sides up to defend first and always be solid at the back. This is probably a good fixture for him to start with too, as West Ham are in absolutely terrible form. They have lost four of their last five games, including a dismal 3-0 defeat away at Burnley before the break. Mourinho’s opposite number Manuel Pellegrini is under immense pressure at this stage.
SPURS TO WIN TO NIL - ODDS: 11/4
Crystal Palace vs Liverpool - 3:00pm 23rd November
Crystal Palace have had a horrendous run of fixtures and they must be cursing the random fixture computer at this stage. Having faced Man City, Arsenal, Leicester and Chelsea in their last four games, they now have to contend with the Premier League leaders visiting Selhurst Park. The word from the Liverpool camp is that Mo Salah and Andy Robertson might not be fit for the game, which would be a huge blow for the Reds. As they have done on a number of occasions this season, Liverpool may need to rely on Sadio Mane for goals.
SADIO MANE TO SCORE ANYTIME - ODDS: 6/5
Bournemouth vs Wolverhampton Wanderers - 3:00pm 23rd November
Eddie Howe can’t have been happy with his Bournemouth side’s performance at St James’ Park before the break, as they fell to a 2-1 defeat. Ryan Fraser and Josh King missed guilt edge chances to come away with a point from the game but in honestly the performance didn’t deserve anything. Wolves got the better of Aston Villa in a midlands derby. The Premier League betting tips suggest this will be a close game, and the average number of goals when the two sides meet is 2.5 goals.
Everton vs Norwich City - 3:00pm 23rd November
It seems as if Marco Silva has been on the brink of the sack for a while now, that is if you believe the stories in the press. The Toffees were able to pick up three points last time out though, so their luck may be turning. The dream start to the season for Norwich with the win against Man City is now very much a distant memory. The Canaries have failed to score in three of their last five games, losing four of those contests. The pressure is very much on for Daniel Farke and his players.
BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE: NO - ODDS: EVENS
Brighton & Hove Albion vs Leicester City - 3:00pm 23rd November
Many pundits suggested Brighton may be in danger of slipping into the Championship this season, so they will be happy to sit 11th in the table after 12 games, just 2 points off 5th place. Their home form has been excellent, dismantling Spurs, Everton and Norwich in their last three Amex fixtures. Leicester however are one of the form sides in the league, and it will take an immense defensive performance to stop the Foxes from winning yet again here with Vardy and Maddison firing on all cylinders.
LEICESTER CITY TO WIN - ODDS: EVENS
Watford vs Burnley - 3:00pm 23rd November
When looking at this week’s set of fixtures, this game in particular is probably the least eye catching. That doesn’t necessarily mean that it will be a bad game though, as there will still be some talented players on show. Watford were rooted to the bottom of the table before their crucial victory at Norwich, and now things look a lot rosier for the Hornets. Burnley ended a run of three defeats in a row with the win against West Ham, though they are traditionally much stronger at home.
Arsenal vs Southampton - 3:00pm 23rd November
As has been a common theme throughout this preview, it is time to focus on two more managers that are under extreme pressure. Unai Emery did not have a good evening when Leicester played them off the park, while Ralph Hasenhüttl has lost three Premier League games in a row with the Saints currently marooned in the bottom three. Arsenal have always been a team that enjoy having possession and should create plenty of chances for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette to get shots on goal.
ARSENAL OVER 5.5 SHOTS ON TARGET - ODDS: 19/20
Manchester City vs Chelsea - 5:30pm 23rd November
If you asked one hundred people before the Premier League season began: who will be higher in the table after 12 games, Man City or Chelsea, the majority would have said Pep Guardiola’s side. That is not how it turned out though, as Chelsea are a point ahead in 3rd with Man City in 4th. This is a testament to the job Frank Lampard has done and his young side are playing a really attractive style of football too, with Tomori, Mount and Abraham potentially the future of the England national team. Both teams create a lot of chances and score bucket loads of goals on a regular basis, so we could be treated to a thriller here.
Sheffield United vs Manchester United - 4:30pm 24th November
The goals have started to fly in for Man United and it seems as if things are on the up. It is good timing for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer too, as Mauricio Pochettino has suddenly become available. Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial are crucial to all that the Red Devils do, but they may find it tough to get past the best defence in the league. Sheffield United have a terrible historical record against Man United, as many teams do, having lost the last five meetings. The Blades are a different beast under Chris Wilder though, so this is expected to be a very competitive contest.
Aston Villa vs Newcastle United - 4:30pm 25th November
Aston Villa have a few players that are in form, including John McGinn who scored three goals for Scotland on international duty. Dean Smith will have been disappointed to lose to Wolves, though they have been unlucky with injuries, particularly to their goalkeepers. Newcastle’s danger man in the last few games has undoubtedly been Allan Saint-Maximin, as he has been a defenders worst nightmare. Having been put through on goal numerous times, the end product has been lacking so far but he has been quite unlucky.
